Sandeman: Proud To Be The Most Awarded Port Wine Brand In The World

They did it again! Sandeman is once more the most awarded Port Wine brand in the world. Upon weighting the results achieved in the major international wine competitions, the 2022 editions confirm the extraordinary performance of the most iconic brand in the sector.

Over the last nine years, Sandeman collected nearly 600 medals at the International Wine Chalenge (IWC), Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) and International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), 100 of which awarded this year.

This acknowledgement was enhanced by special distinctions, such as both Port Wine Trophy awarded to Sandeman 40 Years Old Tawny and Sandeman Late Bottled Vintage 2017, at the IWC, as well as the three gold medals for Sandeman 30 Years Old Tawny, Sandeman 20 Years Old Tawny and Sandeman Vintage Quinta do Seixo 2019, at the DWWA. This competition also delivered a Platinum award to Sandeman 40 Years Old Tawny, also distinguished with Gold at the IWSC.

These results reaffirm Sandeman’s steady path before a demanding and renowned jury, while confirming the long-standing prestige and consistency of the brand.
